Travelodge By Wyndham Fort Lauderdale – Hotel near airport in Fort Lauderdale

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was great, with easy access to the beach and a few restaurants nearby. The rooms were not in the best condition during my trip and could have been cleaner. However, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful, making up for some of the shortcomings. The dining options were average, nothing really stood out, but the price was reasonable for what was offered.

The hotel was in a convenient location, close to downtown, beaches, and great shopping. The room had a strong smell of marijuana as it was a smoking room, stains on the sheets and blanket, but overall, it was comfortable. The service was friendly, but the breakfast was poor with overcrowded dining. The location was easily accessible and friendly staff. The dining options were limited but improved homemade pastry. The hotel needs maintenance in some areas like painting trims and doors.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and the War Memorial Auditorium. The rooms are fairly large but have a musty smell, making the stay uncomfortable at times. The service was a mix of very rude interactions and ridiculously nice gestures. The location is great for accessing the beach, river walks, and State Parks, but the need for painting makes the trim and doors look unappealing. The dining experience lacked variety, offering just donuts and old coffee. Facilities were adequate but could be improved.
